Two socks on one circular needle

I have always been slow to knit the second sock in a pair so when I found the book 2-at-a-time Socks by Melissa Morgan-Oakes, I thought I'd give it a try. So far it's a tangled mess but I started them much too late at night. I need to start over when I'm less tired.
